Idea & Concept

Techcombank Rewards is a loyalty program and a heartfelt gift to honor the strong connections with valued customers. To mark the launch of this program, Techcombank created a minigame where users can upload photos to Facebook with themed frames titled “Welcome Techcombank Rewards.” The themes include Cuisine, Culture, Discovery, Sports, and Gifts.

UX/UI Design

UI Design (User Interface):

  • The minigame was optimized for both desktop and mobile interfaces.
  • Hosted on a dedicated website with the domain “XinchaoTechcombankRewards.com.”
  • The website design uses Techcombank’s signature red and white color palette, featuring frames styled as gift boxes with the tagline “Welcome Techcombank Rewards.”
  • The gameplay is designed with a simple layout and detailed instructions for a seamless user experience.

UX Design (User Experience):
Step 1: Visit the website via the link XinchaoTechcombankRewards.com to choose your favorite photo frame.
Step 2: Select a frame from five themed options and upload your photo. Adjust it to fit perfectly within the chosen frame:

  • Frame 1: Avatar Frame - Vibrant Cuisine
  • Frame 2: Avatar Frame - Vibrant Culture
  • Frame 3: Avatar Frame - Vibrant Discovery
  • Frame 4: Avatar Frame - Vibrant Sports
  • Frame 5: Avatar Frame - Gift Box

Step 3: Download the photo and share it publicly on your Facebook profile with the hashtag #ChaoTechcombankRewards.
Step 4: Post the link to your Facebook post in the comment section of the Techcombank Vietnam fan page’s official announcement, along with a lucky number between 0-999 for a chance to win exciting prizes.

Steps to Experience

Campaign Results

Although the campaign’s main goal was to appreciate loyal customers, the results exceeded expectations:

  • The minigame announcement post garnered over 12,000 interactions, including likes, shares, and comments.
  • Nearly 3,000 participants joined the minigame, generating thousands of posts with the hashtag #TechcombankRewards, creating an impressive ripple effect!

Using API technology, this feature automatically removes irrelevant backgrounds, leaving only the main subject of the uploaded image. (Note: Photos should feature one individual with a clear face for optimal results.)
