Ignite Countless Festive Gatherings with Chin-su Chili Sauce": The Story of an Engaging AI Experience with Mono, Created by Marvy

Surely, you still remember the campaign "With Chin-su Chili Sauce, Ignite Countless Joyful Feasts" not long ago—a vibrant product launch event for the new chili sauce. In this campaign, Marvy's mission was to create an incredibly engaging interactive experience using AI technology, allowing people to "selfie" with Mono and join colorful virtual parties. Let’s revisit this journey with Marvy!

Scope of Work

 Idea & Concept:

The idea was simple yet effective: use AI to create high-quality party frames and then allow users to insert their faces, creating the feeling of actually partying with Mono.

Visual Design:

The Marvy team worked closely with the brand team and agency to create 20 different party themes, each with at least two image options. This provided users with plenty of choices and kept the experience fresh. The themes were incredibly diverse, ranging from familiar parties like birthdays and BBQs to unique themes like space parties, Amazon rainforest parties, sky parties, mythology parties, and more.

Another highlight was the natural and harmonious integration of the Chin-su chili sauce bottle into the frames, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and product promotion. And of course, Mono had to look as "cool" and true to his real-life image as possible.

  

With Chin-su, there’s a big party everywhere.

AI & Chatbot Development:

To realize this idea, Marvy used two main AI technologies:

  • AI Image Generation: Using AI to "draw" the party frames as requested. All images were carefully reviewed by the Chin-su team before being used.
  • AI Face Swapping: This technology allowed users' faces to be inserted into the images quickly (in about 45 seconds).

The playing process was also very simple:

  • Chin-su posted on their Fanpage, inviting people to participate.
  • The chatbot automatically initiated conversations with interested users.
  • Users sent a portrait photo.
  • The chatbot "magically" sent back the face-swapped image.
  • Users freely shared the images on social media.

For a smoother experience, the chatbot was also equipped with some advanced features such as automatic message replies, reminders if users forgot to send a photo, random image selection, and more. Notably, the chatbot could also check the quality of the input photo to ensure the best possible face swap.

A rather "tricky" issue was how to ensure the images were both beautiful and lightweight for fast loading on Facebook. Marvy found an optimal solution to balance quality and speed.

With just a few simple steps, you could join a big party with Mono anywhere!
