To enhance consumer engagement and interaction, Solite partnered with Marvy Co. to develop a unique augmented reality (AR) experience called "Hunt for Soft Cakes – 100% Win Adorable Gifts." This program offers not only delicious cakes but also unlocks a vibrant virtual world and exciting prizes.

The "Hunt for Soft Cakes – 100% Win Adorable Gifts" program is a key part of the launch campaign for the Solite Mickey edition cakes, marking the collaboration between Solite and Disney. This AR activity is designed to boost in-store engagement, especially with a 3x points bonus for users who scan the QR code at Circle K stores. This incentivizes consumers to visit physical stores to purchase the cakes and participate in the experience.

User Experience: 

Participating in this exciting cake-hunting adventure is simple:

  1. Select "Play Now": Begin the "Hunt for Soft Cakes – 100% Win Adorable Gifts" journey.
  2. Register Information: Enter personal details for progress tracking.
  3. Scan the Front of the Solite Mickey Package: Use your phone's camera to scan the image on the cake packaging. The AR world will instantly come to life.
  4. Move Your Phone to Find and Tap the Cakes: Within 30 seconds, players need to move their phone around their real-world environment to locate virtual Solite Mickey cakes. When the virtual flashlight beam hits a cake, simply tap the screen to collect points.
  5. View Summary and Leaderboard: The system automatically tallies scores and displays a leaderboard, allowing players to compete with friends and other participants.

  • AR Image Tracking: This technology allows the game to recognize the image on the Solite Mickey packaging, triggering the AR experience when users scan the product with their camera.
  • AR World Tracking: After scanning the packaging, this technology allows players to find and interact with virtual objects (Solite Mickey cakes) in their surrounding real-world space.

Behind this smooth and seamless experience is a robust backend system developed by Marvy, including features for:

  • User Management: Allowing users to log in, register, and verify information via OTP codes sent to their phones.
  • Leaderboard Management: Tracking and updating player scores in real-time.
  • Game History Management: Storing information about each user's game sessions.
  • Player Points Management: Accurately managing and calculating player scores.

This Content management system plays a crucial role in managing, monitoring, and evaluating the campaign's effectiveness.
