P/S – AR Photobooth Interactive Station at WOHD 2025: A Technological Journey to Protect Vietnamese Smiles with Marvy

On the occasion of World Oral Health Day (WOHD 2025), P/S Vietnam (under Unilever Group) collaborated with Marvy Co. to launch the project “P/S Interactive Station – Smile & Win Gifts”. This innovative activity combines technology and live interaction to spread the message “Healthy Teeth – Bright Smile” to the community in a creative and modern way.

Scope of Work

  • - WebAR Development

1. Concept & Idea:

In celebration of World Oral Health Day, P/S Vietnam collaborated with Marvy Co. to launch the “P/S Smile Stop” – an AR Filter Booth at Metro Ben Thanh and Vincom Dong Khoi.

With just a smile in front of the screen, participants could experience bright teeth effects, fun P/S stickers, and campaign slogans. After capturing their photo, they could easily scan a QR code to download and share it on social media, and receive oral care gifts.

This was not just a fun interactive activity, but also a meaningful way for P/S to spread the message of protecting smiles and raise community awareness about the importance of oral health in daily life.

2. Interactive AR Filter Technology

Marvy developed an AR Photobooth system on a web-based platform featuring:

  • Natural teeth-whitening effects to enhance radiant smiles.

  • Sticker frames with P/S branding and WOHD 2025 campaign messages.

  • Seamless AR experience on the booth with personalized QR Codes for users to download their photos on mobile devices.

 

3. AR Filter Design & UX/UI Development

a. Intuitive & User-Friendly Design (UI)

Marvy focused on creating an impressive, user-friendly AR Filter for P/S with highlights:

  • Intuitive & Friendly UI Design

Simple yet lively interface using P/S’s signature blue tones combined with playful stickers like toothbrushes, sparkling stars, and slogans, creating a fresh and youthful vibe.

  • Smile Detection for Enhanced Interaction

The system automatically activates teeth-whitening effects when detecting a smile, making every participant’s smile shine brighter.

  • Performance Optimization for All Devices

The filter is fine-tuned to run smoothly across devices (booth and mobile), ensuring seamless experiences even in crowded or complex lighting environments.

  • Subtle yet Effective Branding

P/S logos, campaign hashtags, and messages like “Healthy Teeth – Bright Smile” are cleverly integrated into the filter interface to enhance brand recognition naturally.

b. User experience
  • Step 1: Activate AR Filter

Users stand on the marked spot at the booth and wave to trigger the AR effect with bright teeth and P/S stickers on screen.

  • Step 2: Smile & Capture

Smile brightly to start. The system will show the P/S frame, campaign slogan, and a 3-2-1 countdown before taking the photo.

  • Step 3: Scan QR to Download Photo

The photo appears with a personalized QR code. Users scan to download their image to their device.

  • Step 4: Share & Win Prizes

Post the photo on Facebook with campaign hashtags to join the lucky draw and win gifts.

4. Technical Support

Besides AR Filter development, Marvy also provided:

  • Continuous system performance monitoring

  • Onsite technical support throughout the campaign

  • Thorough backup & recovery solutions ensuring smooth operations

 

5. Results & Impact

The AR Filter Booth became a highlight at the event, attracting over 30,000 interactions and photo shares across social media platforms.
