Heineken kicked off 2022 like no other with a big buzz by organizing a splendid AR event and Mini-Games with amazing prizes. The guests experienced lots of cool technology integrated shows that elevated the brand image to a new higher level.

"Ban Qua" game (Gift Hunt)

During the golden hours of 17:00, 19:00, and 21:00 every day from 2021 December 24  to 2022 January 9, participants can participate in a gift hunting game and win surprise rewards at Heineken's countdown event in Nha Trang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh and Kien Giang.

How to play:

During the golden hours, participants will be guided to scan a QR code on the stage or in the standee to access the game. Next, participants turn their phones towards the stage and then the AR gifts will fall down from the sky.

Achievement:

Thousands of people took part in the events and won lots of fascinating presents, such as an iPhone 13, wireless earphones, and many amazing gifts.

 

AR Photobooth

Meeting the requirement from Heineken, Marvy applied AR Tech into the photobooth in order to enhance User Experience.

Different choices 

“Festive”: Many beautiful 3D elements display on the phone screen, such as gift boxes, stars, and sparking fireworks.

 

“Đón lễ hội kỳ diệu”: Many 3D gifts falling from the sky bring the holiday atmosphere.

 

Features and Requirements from Heineken

Displaying 3D gift boxes on the real background: as the idea “Falling from the sky” implies, the colorful gift boxes are programmed to fall from mid-air to bring a true feeling in real life.

 

AR Game Programming:

  • AR World Tracking Tech: After scanning the QR code, participants turn their phones towards the stage, and then the AR gifts will fall down from the sky.
  • Countdown Features: Program the gift rain to be played only at a pre-set time, and only lasts for 15 minutes.
  • Login: ID numbers, phone numbers…
  • Create a code to verify every gift receipt.

 

CMS Programming

Marvy programmed CMS Page to assist Heineken in easily managing the golden hours for the Games. In addition, Heineken’s admins easily verify the gift when players want to exchange gifts. It is also easier to manage the customer's gift exchange history by collecting participant information and gift information.

 

3D Modeling and 3D Animation

With Heineken's request for a festive design, Marvy flexibly used cheerful colors such as red and yellow with Heineken's signature green. Using 3 colors Green, Red, and Yellow has helped increase brand awareness for Heineken's event as well as highlight the Festival theme that Heineken wants to aim for.

The photobooth was a special highlight, leaving a strong impression on attendees in terms of its large scale and the application of the ultramodern AR technology as well as 3D animation from Marvy. Photobooth is also a trendy check-in place, attracting a huge number of people to interact with a large number of photos and videos uploaded on social networks
