Experience Being a Café Owner with VNG's Hello Café Playable Ads

Hello Café Playable Ads is a collaborative product between VNG and Marvy to introduce the engaging gameplay and features of the original game (Hello Café). It also impresses users with its beautiful design, fun sounds, and simple gameplay mechanics.

To promote and attract users to download the Hello Café app, VNG selected and collaborated with Marvy to create a Playable Ad based on the original game. Among all the game functions mentioned, the Playable Ad has been programmed to let players become true restaurant managers and successfully serve customer characters. Through the Playable Ad, players can experience the original game for a short time without having to download it.

Introduction

Hello Café is an entertaining mobile game that simulates a unique restaurant management experience, exclusively released by VNG in Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia.

In the game, players own a food store and embark on an exciting business journey: freely decorating, hiring staff, upgrading equipment, and step by step building their restaurant into a dream destination.

To promote and attract users to download the Hello Café app, VNG selected and collaborated with Marvy to create a Playable Ad based on the original game. Among all the game functions mentioned, the Playable Ad has been programmed to let players become true restaurant managers and successfully serve customer characters. Through the Playable Ad, players can experience the original game for a short time without having to download it.

Playable Ads Programming

Marvy programmed the Hello Café Playable Ad based on the existing game rules and used the design provided by VNG.

  • At the beginning of each playthrough, there will always be a tutorial animation to guide the player, ensuring a user-friendly and easy-to-use experience.

  • Based on the requirements of the in-game characters, players need to select the type of brewing machine and hold down on the machine to create drinks according to the customer's wishes.
  • Once the drink is prepared, the player will drag the drink towards the customer character.

  • Each successful service will result in the customer character showing a satisfied expression, with an animation of coins moving towards the scoreboard in an entertaining manner.

  • If the player serves the wrong drink or lets the character wait for more than 5 seconds, the customer will show a disappointed expression, leave, and points will be deducted.

  • Players need to serve a total of 5 customers with random orders to avoid monotony.
  • After serving 5 customers, players will receive their results and customer reviews.

   

 

The gameplay in the Playable Ads and the official Hello Café game is easy to understand and operate. The Playable Ads use prominent characters from the original game while simplifying user actions compared to the official game.

Conversely, the Playable Ads incorporate fun sounds and beautiful animations such as bursting and moving coins, customer expressions, and more to fully engage players and stimulate the desire to download the game.
